10 Motors & 20,000 Ft Pipe Arrives in 24 Hours: Sagwan Villagers Call Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj "Sachi Sarkar"
This video documents the catastrophic impact of floods on Sagwan village (Tehsil Tosham, District Bhiwani, Haryana) and the immediate, large-scale relief provided by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Village Destruction: The floodwaters submerged almost the entire village, with some areas having water up to the roofs. All crops (100%) and most homes were destroyed, forcing the entire population of the village (which has 1,500 houses) to evacuate or "migrate" (palayan). Several deaths were reported due to the shock of the disaster.
The Plea for Help: After repeated failures to get meaningful assistance from government officials and running out of all options, the Sarpanch and Panchayat members approached the followers of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj as a "last resort". They requested 10 large 20 HP motors and 20,000 feet of pipe for dewatering the village.
Unprecedented Relief: The request was immediately prioritized by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, and the massive relief convoy, estimated to be worth crores of rupees, arrived in the village within 24 hours of the request. The delivered material included:
- 10 x 20 HP Motors
- 20,000 feet of 8-inch pipe
- 1,000 feet of cable
- All associated accessories (starters, connectors, etc.)
The Maharaj's Condition: The trust presented a "special request" from the Maharaj, requiring the Panchayat to use the equipment diligently to clear the water and ensure the next crop is successfully sown. Failure to do so would result in no future disaster aid.
Villagers' Response: Villagers were overwhelmed, calling the swift and complete assistance a "miracle" and referred to the Maharaj as "God" (Bhagwan) and the "True Government" (Sachi Sarkar) that came to their aid when the administration failed. The equipment was given as a permanent gift to the village
