Bupania Village (Jhajjar) Saved by Sant Rampal Ji

"Two Months No One Listened": The Story of Bupania Village, Jhajjar, Saved by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj's Six 15 HP Motors

Detailed Summary

This report captures the extreme distress and subsequent relief experienced by the residents of Bupania village, which had been paralyzed by floodwaters for two months.

The Crisis: Around 1,500 acres of land were submerged under up to six feet of water, resulting in a 100% loss of all standing crops. The village’s situation was exacerbated by the failure of eight small motors provided by the administration and the subsequent cutting off of their electricity supply. Villagers' pleas to MLAs and MPs were ignored.

The Plea for Help: Hundreds of villagers went to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj's Dhanana Dham ashram after learning about his flood relief work through social media. They submitted a formal request (an application) at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji demanding six 15 HP motors and 1,000 feet of pipe.

The Aid and Swift Response: Sant Rampal Ji's response was immediate and "lightning-fast" compared to the government's two-month delay. The materials were delivered just two days after the request was made.

The Aid Provided: The convoy delivered the exact, complete, and high-quality material requested:

  • 6 x 15 Horse Power (HP) Kirloskar motors (complete sets).
  • 1,000 feet of 8-inch high-quality pipe.
  • All Accessories: The aid included six starters, cables, Fevicol (adhesive), nuts, bolts, and every small accessory required to connect and run the motors and pipeline, ensuring the villagers needed no external purchases.

Community Reaction and Mandate: The villagers were so happy that they distributed ladoos (sweets) and honored the saint with a shield and a turban (pagri). The shield specifically called the saint "God (Bhagwan)". The relief team delivered a strict mandate from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, stating that the village must use the equipment to clear the water in time for the next wheat crop, and that the pipe and motor were a "gift" (वरदान - boon) to be kept for permanent use to prevent future flooding.
