₹10 Crore Crop Loss | Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Sends Emergency Relief to Banbhori Village, Hisar
This video documents the extensive flood relief efforts carried out by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj in Banbhori village (Tehsil Barwala, District Hisar, Haryana). The village was overwhelmed by floodwaters, resulting in catastrophic damage:
- Massive Flooding: The area, including homes and fields, was submerged under 4 to 6 feet of water, severely disrupting daily life and making fields inaccessible.
- Economic Ruin: Over 3,000 to 4,000 acres of crops were completely destroyed, leading to an estimated loss of over ₹10 Crore (₹100 million).
- Health and Safety Crisis: Villagers, children, and livestock were confined and facing the threat of disease; many houses were collapsing.
Request and Immediate Relief
- The Gram Panchayat, led by Sarpanch representative Jora Singh, approached Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj's followers after learning of aid provided to other flood-affected areas and submitted a request at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji.
- The village requested vital equipment to pump out the water: three 20 Horse Power (HP) motors, 300 feet of pipe, and 300 feet of electrical cable.
- Demonstrating remarkable speed, the material was delivered to the village in under two days. The delivery included three brand-new 20 HP Kirloskar motors, 300 feet of pipe, all necessary electrical cables, starters, and connectors.
Conditional Aid and Villager Response
- A strict directive from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was conveyed: the aid is conditional on the villagers' commitment to draining the water in time to successfully sow the next crop. Failure to do so would disqualify the village from receiving future aid.
- The villagers and Panchayat members expressed immense gratitude and surprise at the rapid, large-scale support, calling it an "act of God". They signed the commitment letter, promising to work together to clear the water and save the next harvest
